FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions about the Berlin WelcomeCard

The most important questions about the Berlin WelcomeCard. All answers are on the FAQ page. After purchase you receive a voucher to bring along as an A4 printout.

What services are included?+

Depending on your variant: the standard card includes free travel (Zone AB or ABC) plus up to 50% discount at 170+ attractions. The Museum Island variant adds free entry to the five island museums. All Inclusive offers free entry to 30+ top attractions, but without public transport. More on the FAQ page.

How do I activate the pass and how long is it valid?+

After purchase you receive a voucher by email. Print it out in A4 format and bring it with you. The validity period (48h, 72h or 4 to 6 days) starts with first use; multi-day passes expire at midnight on the last day.

Is entry to attractions one-time or can it be repeated?+

Each included attraction can be visited once, or the discount redeemed once. Multiple visits to the same sight with the same card are not provided for.

Does the pass cover airport transfers?+

With the ABC variant, the journey to BER Airport is covered, as the airport is in Zone C. A Zone AB card does not cover the airport and cannot be upgraded afterwards - choose the ABC variant directly if you need airport transfers.

Can the pass be cancelled?+

Cancellation or refund is normally not possible after purchase. The tickets are date-specific and excluded from exchange. Check the exact cancellation conditions on your voucher.
