Prices of the Berlin WelcomeCard

What the Berlin WelcomeCard costs

The Berlin WelcomeCard starts at 45.50 €. There is no fixed price grid: the price depends on the zone and duration you choose, and is shown live in the booking window at the current rate. That way you always pay the up-to-date price.

All variants include the same core package - free travel on public transport and discounts at partner venues. The two variables that drive the price are zone and duration.

AB or ABC: the zone

The zone determines how far you travel. AB covers the entire city area. ABC also reaches Potsdam and BER Airport, which lies in Zone C. If you are travelling to or from the airport or planning a trip to Potsdam, go straight for ABC - a Zone AB card cannot be upgraded later. The ABC variant costs a little more than AB.

48 hours to 6 days: the duration

The card is available for 48 hours, 72 hours and for 4, 5 or 6 days. The longer the validity, the higher the total price - but the lower the cost per day. For a long weekend 48 or 72 hours usually suffice; if you are staying a full week, one of the multi-day cards is the better value.

What is included in the price

The price covers free travel on the chosen tariff (AB or ABC) by bus, tram, underground and S-Bahn, plus discounts of up to 50% at over 170 partners across the city - from sights and museums to city tours, restaurants and theatres. Up to three children aged 6 to 14 travel free with one adult; children under 6 always travel free.

As of 24 June 2026. The price shown at the time of purchase in the booking window is always binding.

Which variant is worth it

If you are staying in the city and planning a few paid admissions, the shorter duration in Zone AB is the most affordable choice. As soon as BER Airport or Potsdam come into play, you need ABC. And the longer your stay, the more a multi-day card pays off, since the price per day falls with each additional duration step.
