The three variants of the Berlin WelcomeCard
The Berlin WelcomeCard is available in three variants, each for 48 hours, 72 hours, or 4 to 6 days. Which one suits you depends on whether your priority is unlimited public transport or free admission to attractions. The current price is shown in the booking window once you have chosen your variant, zone and duration.
| Variant | Public Transport | Admissions | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | Free travel (Zone AB or ABC) | Up to 50% discount at 170+ partners | Visitors who want to travel around by bus and rail |
| Museum Island | Free travel (Zone AB or ABC) | As Standard + free admission to the 5 museums on Museum Island | Museum lovers who also need public transport |
| All Inclusive | No public transport ticket | Free admission to 30+ top attractions including a hop-on hop-off bus tour | Those who want to visit as many highlights as possible for free |
Zone AB or ABC: choosing the right zone
You choose your zone at the time of purchase. Zone AB covers the city area; Zone ABC also includes Potsdam and BER Airport. If you are travelling to or from the airport, go straight for ABC - a Zone AB card cannot be upgraded later.
How much does the card cost?
The price depends on your chosen variant, zone and duration, and is shown live in the booking window. That way you always pay the current rate. Up to three children aged 6 to 14 travel free with one adult on variants that include public transport; children under 6 travel free regardless.
For full details on what is included, see the Attractions page, and for public transport coverage visit Public Transport.
Questions about Prices & Variants
Quick answers to help you choose the right variant. All questions are available on the FAQ page.
Which variant suits me?+
Standard and Museum Island include a public transport ticket; the All-Inclusive variant does not. If you want free travel on buses and trains, choose Standard or Museum Island. If your priority is free admission to attractions, All Inclusive is the better fit.
Do I need Zone AB or Zone ABC?+
For trips to and from BER Airport you need Zone ABC, as the airport sits in Zone C. If you are staying within the city, Zone AB is sufficient. You choose the zone at the time of purchase.
Where can I see the exact price?+
The up-to-date price is shown directly in the booking window once you have selected your variant, zone and duration. That way you always pay the currently valid price.
