berlinpass.de is an independent overview of Berlin's tourist cards. Its focus is the Berlin WelcomeCard, Berlin's official tourist card. It's issued by visitBerlin, the city's official tourism organisation. The card combines free travel in your chosen zone with discounts at more than 170 attractions, and comes with validity periods from 48 hours to 6 days.
In Berlin, the first question isn't whether to get a card, but which one. Zone AB covers the city area, ABC also includes BER Airport and Potsdam - and an AB card can't be upgraded once you're there. Buy the wrong zone and you either pay for surrounding areas you'll never see, or end up without a ticket at BER. We set out zones and validity periods side by side, weigh the card price against the BVG day ticket, and say what the card does NOT do: free entry isn't included in the standard variant sold here, since it's a discount card with a travel ticket.

We're not a hotel or general travel portal - we deliberately leave out accommodation booking and tours that have nothing to do with the card. We don't sell the card ourselves: bookings run through our partner GetYourGuide, where current prices, availability and terms apply. We don't carry the Museumsinsel and All Inclusive variants with free entry; those are available via the official card website.
